Asana and Art Therapy

Merging movement, creative expression of art therapy, and herbal wisdom for truer expression

Overview:

This workshop is for those who want to explore new ways to express themselves through art and yoga/meditation—plus, learn how herbs can enhance our ability to connect to our creative center to feel grounded, inspired, and connected.

In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll experience the unique synergy between creativity and movement. Jen will start you off with an herbal tea, then guide you through a meditation and yoga flow to awaken your senses. Stephanie will help you express and explore your experience using simple art therapy practices that anyone can do.

No yoga or art experience required. Just bring yourself and a willingness to explore.

Workshop Intention:

This is an opportunity to experience the powerful connection between yoga, art therapy, and self-trust while discovering new ways to express yourself through words, movement, energy, and creative connection with others.

This workshop is designed for yoga practitioners of all levels. No artistic skills are required for this practice.

  • Your favorite mug for tea.
  • Yoga mat (or use one from the studio) and comfortable clothing.

Art supplies and paper will be provided. If you have a journal or specific art supplies that you would like to use, please feel free to bring them.

$44 per session. If you sign up for all 4 sessions together, you’ll receive a 15% discount, $146.90 for all 4 dates.

Jen Morabito

Jen Morabito is a Clinical Herbalist, Reiki Master, and the founder of Brave Yogi Medicinals. As a former collegiate athlete—now a yoga instructor for the past nine years—she blends intentional movement, energy work, and plant medicine to help practitioners reconnect with their body’s innate wisdom. Her workshops offer an integrative space to move, heal, and remember how to be your own medicine.

Stephanie McLeod-Estevez, LCPC

Stephanie McLeod-Estevez, LCPC: Art Therapist, Author of Grow Your Glow, and Host of the Live Radiantly Talk Show. Stephanie helps others navigate a world they cannot control by building resilience from the inside out. With deep clinical expertise and a profoundly personal understanding of life’s major transitions, Stephanie bridges the gap between psychological theory, somatic healing, and experiential creative practice.
